We make wedge-sawn floors of densely grown heartwood pine. The floors are equally beautiful from the bottom side as there are no notches. The boards can be obtained in lengths up to 50 feet.

In old Swedish farmhouses, wedge-sawn floors were put down to get maximum length and width. But such a floor, with the wide ends of the boards put together with the narrow ones, also lends a vivid and varying finish to a room in any modern house. Since you don’t join wedge-sawn floorboards they are either put down alongside the whole room or with a dividing plank in the middle.
